The 9-3 Viggen was produced in short numbers in 1999-2000, with the 2.3Turbo engine producing 225 BHP, this model was developed to enhance the range, but sadly did little to help Saab, as it handled very poorly with no traction control.

The only modifications needed for the stage 2 tunes on both the v6 and 4cyl is just a drop in K&N air filter. If you want to go stage 3 it will require a performance exhaust and performance intercooler. I do plan on getting this done on my 4 cyl Aero next year. Good luck and keep us posted.
